First paid job

Karin comes to me one day in the office asking me to help her scrap a gift. She hands me a photo of her and 2 other friends and says she wants me to make something nice and sweet for her friend(that is why I use pink color). Karin is the girl in the middle and she told me her friend (on her right) is leaving to further her studies in oversea. She wants something that will remind her and their friendship even if they are going to be apart for few years. I am super duper excited because this is my first assignment. Can you believe it? I am actually paid to scrap! Muahahaha!!

Seriously, I am motivated to make it nice and make her proud. I understand the feeling of living abroad and moving into a whole new place where nothing is familiar, it is heartwarming to have something that she feels familiar with accompanying her everyday. I hope this gift will reminds her of the memories they made together in their friendship. When I design this frame I put in a lot of small lil details (lotsa eyelets, brads, holes that makes the paper look like laces, glitters), I want her to feel excited every time she looks at it as though after few years later, she will look at it and still finds something she hasn't realized before.

I am excited when it is done. I love it a lot, Karin loves it a lot , her friends love it too....One of my colleague loves my work too and actually ask me to make one for her anniversary gift!

Big R = Ronnie

The more scrappings I do, the more I want to do more to see how diversify I can be each time. This is a return girly gift for my friend Ronnie from Seoul for her warm scarf. When I think of Ronnie, immediately i thought of gentleness, kindness, bright and a happy soul. This floral theme which shout, "pretty in Pink" relates to her in every way.

When I gave this to her last July in Korea, she was in good shape she even said i might not be able to recognize her! After shedding off few pounds, who know what suprise is awaiting her around the corner? I would say the the best thing ever happen would be....

So cute you will feel like puking!! ;P hehe, just kidding. yea, i know how it feels to be in love! haha!!! eh, i think he looks like the guy in "my wife is a gangster 3" by Shuqi. Well, except for the fact that the actor has longer hair and few fine lines ^_^

p/s: R, I hope this nice frame still sits proudly in your room ^_^, oh ya, you can pay me to make one for you and chris now!!!hehehe.....

You are Wrong!

If you think giving a picture frame is 'out', then think again! Well, giving a plain photo frame will make you like a primary school kid of cz. So, with a lil bit of sweet thought a photoframe will make a fabulous gift! Why not?:)------------>

Our 25th birthdays marked 10 years of friendship. She was one of the more popular girls in our school with good academic record. We weren't close then although we were in the same class. She is always quiet and elegant and I am more of the loud and silly type. We are diff yet so similar in a way. It never crossed my mind that we will become 'chi mui'. I remember we even bitched about each other, :p Well, I dunno bout her but i think I did....haha! Sorry babe....the way you walk was too eye-catching! haha.

So I made a birthday scrapping with 'lotsa loving' & 'friendship' as ingredients!

Rainforest theme

Look at those "act cute" face! Have to admit they r indeed a lovely couple. Oh Andy....you still owe me a favor!! *wink wink*

We visited Ronnie, Jeanine and her baby Jessie last autumn in Korea. It was a great holiday with lotsa weight gain. I wanted to give something to the new born baby (i mean not new new....she is 1 yr old now). How could I ever visit her with an empty hand? I wanted to get her a personalized gift but found nothing special...well, besides getting her sweet lil dress/cute lil shoe/ prob a soft piggytoy....what else? Those gifts will only last for awhile....

After cracking my head to find her something *special* and *lasting*

AHA!

Can't keep my eyes off her when I was scrapping. I just have the urge to pinch her meaty face, haha. I figured pink would be nicest color to start with, mixture of flowers, eyelets as buttons on her cute lil top, a safety pin as deco...ah, simply irresistable...

Hope she will grow up faster to learn that someone made such a sweet gift for her ;)

Update 10/10/07 : Jeanine sent me some of Jessie's picture. Can't help but falling in love with her

Love this lil angel.....
