Moved
Finally I moved to a new place yesterday. It was super strenuous and I believe I am destined to face 99 obstacles before finding a decent place. God, you never know what kind of shit I have been tru...some stupid agents tried to introduce me to diff apartment that is either run-down or you will get the creepy feeling when you enter the place. As if it is haunted. Oh, not to forget those places that looks like a prostitution centre. Kill me to live there....urgh! Imagine hearing lotsa weird noises coming from the room next door. Hahaha!
Rental went sky high this year. I pay more for my current room compare to what I paid for the whole house in Hougang. Location plays a part but I have seen shoddier place and locations that is asking for a lot of money. Glad I earn enough money to survive in this small lil country. *Shake head* I will never let my mom know how much I paid for the place or else she will faint!
The good news is my new place's location is superb, just 5 minutes to Orchard on taxi! Conversely, it seems like kind of tough to fetch a taxi at my new place. I have to call a cab to work today and it cost me $14 for less than 10mins journey. The last time I paid to come to work from Hougang is around $20 which is cheap in compare to the distance traveled. I have to learn how to take mrt to work soon.
